This is what happens in Menard Hall room 330 when it is your 19th birthday and you have 7 friends blowing up 200+ balloons and putting them on the floor. It gets hard to walk...

Goldfish
Well we decided to get some pets for in our dorm room. The first time we bought some they died within 12 hours. So then there was Nemo. Then Nemo gota friend named Marlin. Well now Nemo is dead too. So we are left with Marlin. I think we have an issue with keeping Goldfish alive...

Welcome to Walsh University
Well, everything is all moved in, and it seems we have settled into the place we're going to be living for the next 8 months of our lives. It's so weird to be here and be on my own. It's something I'm having a bit of a hard time adjusting to. It's definitely something I'm not used to. I'm still trying to get used to the whole being on my own thing with 2 strangers I just met hours ago... I'm sure as time passes we will become good friends, and my mind set will change, but for now I have a ton of thoughts running through my head, and I'm still doubting that I can do this... I just have to keep a positive mindset, and believe I can do it I guess....

Packing and Labeling
As much as I'm not enjoying packing and labeling I am doing it. It kinda makes me upset in a way. I had a mental breakdown last night, and I think I cried for about an hour or so. I don't know what my problem is though. I have so many thought running through my head right now. I don't know what to think.

Getting Ready
Well, August flew past, and Saturday is approaching faster than I expected. I'm getting super excited. The nervousness has still not hit me. I think it's going to get to me when I finally move in Saturday morning, and then at 2 when I have to tell my mom, dad and sister goodbye, and I finally realize that I am going to be on my own. Now I know that I am only about 8 miles from my house. But I won't be able to tell my mom that I need something and expect her to run and get it for me. Everything is going to fall into my lap, and I'm going to have to do it on my own now. I guess I'm an "adult" so it's time for me to finally act like it and start doing things for myself.
