It's Hard To Believe

Well, here are the pictures from the wreck that happened last Wednesday night

Actually seeing where he wrecked was something totally different than what I pictured in my mind too... When they said he went and hit a tree in someone's yard it made me think he drove through the yard a while before he hit the tree... but actually he went off the road right into the tree, it was like 8 feet off the road if that...We have all also decided that if the black truck that was parked in the road that he bumped into before he hit the tree would have followed the "absolutely no parking at any time" signs going up and down the road then he would have probably made it home and not ended up almost losing his left foot, having fractured and broken ribs and 23 stitches in his chin, barely able to move and breathe in the hospital bed without saying it hurts it hurts. seeing the pictures of the truck and the truck for real made you really realize how lucky Uncle Dave is to still be here.  It's absolutely crazy... I'll try to kind of type what everything is under the pictures because some are kind of hard to tell unless you actually see the truck...

Sorry if they are not the greatest, but I think you can get the idea.

This is the drivers side door... The big dent and the scrapes to the right of where the door would shut is where we think they had to use the jaws of life to get the door open to be able to get him out

This is the front where he hit the tree.. If you look close enough right under the smashed up headlight you can still see bark off of the tree that is stuck in there... 

This we're not quite sure what it is, but it's something that was under his hood that was now sticking out of where it belonged, and all the wires were cut from it

This is the back passengers side where he hit the truck that was parked in the road that wasn't supposed to be parked there... that's pretty much the only damage to that side.. a bit of a scrape, but nothing compared to the drivers side

I took this picture, but I don't know if you can tell, the front bumper is actually bent down into the front tire and put a hole in the tire... 

This is his radio on the inside of the truck... I only took this picture because look how it's not even together anymore, the impact of hitting the tree made it come apart



This is pretty similar to the second picture I have posted, but in this one I pretty much zoomed in, I think I was trying to actually get the bark that was still in his truck.. you can see it a lot better in this picture


This was the windshield... It didn't break, but it was shattered obviousally, as you can see

I'm Done

Well last night I graduated! HOORAYYY... I made it.  I'm was so nervous when it all started, but by the end of the night I was super happy.  It's kind of a weird feeling now, because I don't really know what to do now.  I had so much to look forward to before last night, and now I have nothing.  It's so weird.  It's like I just sit here hoping something comes looking for me.  I was really proud of myself because I made it through the entire ceremony without crying, although I realized that was more than likely the last time I would see everyone together in that big group, and in the fall everyone is going their own ways.  Although I don't like some of the people in my graduating class, it was nice to see everyone together.  

But, I'm looking forward to summer, and I can't wait to have late night bon-fires, and hang out with my friends all day, go swimming, and of course work on my tan too.  It's going to be amazing

I Guess I Thought That This Would Never End...

- - Well as crazy as it seems, my days at Canton South High School are finally over...
Today was boring just like any other last day of school, and I don't think that the "you really aren't going back there anymore" has hit me yet. I'm still in, oh yeah I'm done I made it 4 years without failing mode. After lunch, I was counting down the minutes until my last day of school would be over... I mean I'm pretty excited, but kinda nervous at the same time [Weird I know]. It just feels so weird. In 3 months I'm going to be in a whole new atmosphere not knowing anything and figuring out that I am responsible and I have to do my assignments and there are no retakes if I fail a test, and I can't slack off. I'll admit that I'm really nervous for that, but then again I think I am ready for it. I need a challenge.

- - I have to go in tomorrow at 11 for a pre-calc final that's going to kill me... But I guess I'll live... whatever it can't be any worse than I have done in there all year... so whatever... As soon as I am done taking my final....

I'm really excited.. that means sleeping in and staying out late, and seeing my friends whenever I want and not having to worry about it being a "school night."

Well today was actually pretty rough for me, although it didn't have much to do with me, I still took it pretty hard. It made me upset.  I wish there was something I could do to make things better, but I know there isn't, and it upsets me.  Today really made me realize things that I knew and heard before, but just didn't take the time to think about.
